Queensland Day in the Office
Queensland Day in the Office is a celebration where workplaces across our state come together to commemorate 6 June as the day we officially separated from New South Wales.
Queenslanders were encouraged to paint their workplaces maroon and hold a Queensland themed barbeque lunch, morning or afternoon tea.
Participants registered for free and each received a Di Bella Coffee party pack, as well as access to an electronic toolkit, that included decoration templates, workplace game ideas and quizzes to make the day a truly maroon affair.
Workplaces that sent in a photo of their party in action went into the draw to win great prizes. Congratulations to Open Minds Ipswich Office who was randomly drawn as the winner of $2000 credit from Di Bella Coffee. They celebrated Queensland Day in the Office with some colourful Queensland themed characters and a spot of thong throwing.
Central Queensland Youth Justice, Rockhampton and Strategy and Performance unit, Department of Education and Training, Brisbane were also voted people’s choice winners by Queensland Week Facebook fans. Both workplaces received product hampers from Di Bella Coffee.
