The existing market event was expanded to include a Welcome to Country, Queensland Proclamation re-enactment, free morning tea, 'Great Thong Toss', pineapple throwing competition, pig races, working dog display and other demonstrations.
Cribbie

Cribbie is a musical play telling the history of the Brisbane suburb of Cribb Island. The play was performed six times during Queensland Week and a radio version broadcasted across the state.
Croydon Gold—Queensland Week Golden Gate Train Ride

A return ride on the historic Gulflander Train from Croydon to the Golden Gate Mines Railway Siding Site followed by a night of Queensland themed entertainment and fireworks.
Ipswich Queensland Day

Local sporting associations, businesses and the wider community competed in an obstacle course. The event included a sausage sizzle, children's activities and information stalls.

The Innisfail CBD hosted a shopfront photographic exhibition showcasing local historical events. The display was staffed by volunteers and launched with an opening event.
Queensland Week in the Lockyer
