Queensland Week Showcase of Local Arts and All Things Creative
(Hervey Bay Council for the Arts)

When: Sunday 5 June 2011

The free festival included a showcase of local bands, locally made arts and crafts, wine, liqueurs, cheese and other local produce.

The Curry Feast
(Cloncurry Shire Council)

When: Saturday 4 June 2011

The community event to celebrated what Cloncurry and its surrounding areas have to offer and included a barbeque with local produce, citizenship ceremony, performances from a local Indigenous dance group, local bush poets and unique Queensland activities.

Evening Light

When: Saturday 4 to Sunday 12 June 2011

The week long project including lantern making, bush poetry and speaking workshops, culminating in a lantern parade, poetry readings, community food festival and musical evening.

The street party featured entertainers, old-fashioned Queensland foods, a quiz on Queensland icons, a bake-off using Queensland produce and a pumpkin scone competition.

Woodgate Beach Queensland Week Celebrations

The week-long celebration included a showcase of local produce, a talent quest, guided bus tours, guided national park walks, bowls and tennis tournaments, a photo competition and exhibition, markets and a family fun day on the beach.

The community multi-sports day featured touch football and cricket competitions. Other activities included a banner-designing competition, a photo competition, a drawing competition, a barbeque dinner and entertainment.
