2016 Premier’s Sustainability Awards


The 2016 Premier's Sustainability Awards recognise the work of Queenslander’s achieving excellence for leadership in sustainability, innovation and eco-efficiency.

Over 130 nominations have been received from across Queensland proving that the state’s enthusiasm for innovation, efficiency and sustainability is still running strong.

The quality and diversity of entrants highlights that the state’s future matters to everyone, from big companies to switched on schools.

Nominations for 2016 are now closed.

The winners and finalists will be announced at an awards presentation dinner hosted by the Premier on Thursday 17 November 2016 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

The night will feature visionary Queenslanders who are developing innovative products and sustainable practices that lower consumption of fossil fuels and reduce water, energy and waste whilst cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
