Residential project

The Residential Project is for Gold Award participants only. This section encourages you to broaden your life experience through involvement with others in a residential setting.

Requirements

  • You must participate in a purposeful activity away from where you live with people who are not your everyday companions.
  • Your activity must run for at least 4 nights and 5 days.

Examples

Examples of residential projects include:

  • coaching and activity courses
  • general training and adventure courses
  • youth leadership training courses
  • Agoonoree
  • cultural experiences - including overseas student exchanges
  • leader - Yr 8 Camp
  • Overland Track - Tasmania
  • International Round Square Conference
  • carer for blind camp
  • Taste 2007 - Australian Agricultural College
  • community service projects - overseas
  • Warrant Officers Course – RAAF.
