Apply to be a licensed operator
To become a Licensed Operator your group or organisation needs to:

- Submit payment for the Annual License fee to the State Award Office.
- Submit a copy of your current insurance certificate* to the State Award Office.
- Make sure everyone in your organisation who is involved in the administration or delivery of The Award, completes a:
- Make sure any Assessors, Instructors and volunteers comply with the employment screening provisions in part 6 of the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Gaurdian Act 2000. Contact the Blue Card Contact Centre for more information on 1800 113 611 (free call).
- Nominate a person to be an Award Coordinator.
*Licensed operators are required to have their own Public Liability Policy with a minimum of $5 million limit.
