When using the Queensland Government WebCentre there are a number of ways that users can move around the site to access information and services.
Queensland Government logo
All Queensland Government websites that have implemented the Consistent User Experience Standard will display the Queensland Government logo in the top left hand corner on their websites. This logo is a link to the Queensland Government home page (www.qld.gov.au).
Utility menu and search facility
At the top right hand corner of each page you will find the utility menu and search navigation facility.
From here you can navigate to:
- Site map - a high level overview of the different sections in this site
- Contact us - how to contact the Queensland Government
- Help - tips on using this website
- Search facility - enter keywords in the text box and click the 'Search' button to search for information on this website
Site navigation
The site navigation (primary navigation) is a menu located directly under the horizontal image banner at the top of each page. This menu contains links to the major sections of the WebCentre, including:
Section navigation
Section navigation (secondary navigation) is a menu used on all secondary pages and provides users with information specific to a section of our site. Section navigation (menu) will appear in the left-hand column of each secondary page. Links to pages within the section can be viewed or hidden by selecting the [+] or [-] symbols to the left of each menu item, where available.
