Appendix 1 - Browser support page

The following message should be used as a generic statement to publicly indicate Queensland Government’s approach to browser support.

The browser support message can be linked to from the 'problems viewing this site' link in the CUE template.

Browser support

The Queensland Government strives to make its public web resources compatible with a range of browsers, devices and platforms.

This is achieved by developing web resources according to international web standards and best practice, and regular testing across a range of different browsers.

The content on the page you came from is accessible to all browsers and internet devices, but may not display well in browsers which do not comply with these standards. If you are experiencing problems with any of our pages, please let us know.

Note:

  • The 'let us know' text can link to a feedback form or a contact page.
  • If possible a dedicated feedback form should be provided on the browser support page itself.
  • It is recommended to allow users to 'report a fault' and to opt to be contacted when the issues has been resolved. This form (or processing script) should capture the user-agent request header so the browser being used can be determined.
