CUE template downloads
The CUE template allows agencies to more easily implement and meet the requirements of the CUE Standard.
Agencies are not required to use the template but must ensure their sites and applications abide by the CUE template conformance requirements.
The template is distributed in three forms:
Reference implementation
The CUE-template-3.2 (ZIP, 4.2 MB) includes:
- files, assets and resources required for using the CUE template to build an agency or campaign website
- documentation for customising the template (e.g. CUE conformance requirements document, CUE template change log)
- HTML examples of the CUE template in action.
Source build
The CUE-template-3.2-src (ZIP, 26 MB) contains:
- the source files needed to develop or learn about the CUE template (including sample video files)
- documentation covering the rationale for code decisions
- information about how to update and develop the template to meet agency requirements.
This file is generally not required for use by external parties.
Video template
The Queensland Government has purchased a licence for JW Player, an open source video player for the web. The Online Services Unit has developed an online video template using this player. The video template has been accessibility tested and complies with WGAC2.0 (single A Level conformance with Guideline 1.2).
Licensing:
- All qld.gov.au domains and subdomains are covered by the Queensland Government license for JW Player.
- All other domains must contact LongTail Video to obtain a licence, and then contact Online Services to supply the required files.
- Agencies should only use the online video template packaged with the latest CUE template, as controls for closed captions and audio description have been accessibility tested.
- Please contact Online Services to request access to the required JW Player and accessibility files. If you are external to Queensland Government, please ask your agency representative to request this on your behalf.
