Graphics
2.2.3 Graphics
Designers can apply the following guidelines relating to graphics to ensure that images are used appropriately and that web pages are easy to download:
- The home page may contain a larger graphical element (section 2) than content pages, i.e. more height, but this should be an extension of the graphical element used on the content pages so that the browser only needs to load the graphic once. This provides a smarter use of graphical elements.
- All images must be accessible and optimised for web delivery.
