1.2.11 Services Online
(refer to Section 11, Screen Layout diagram)Agencies that deliver services online either directly by themselves or through Smart Service Queensland are required to position the 'Services Online' styled link above the fold in the upper area of the right hand feature column within the CUE template. This applies to both home pages and content pages (when the content is related to a particular service).
Services Online definition
A service online enables individuals and businesses to purchase or access goods or services over the Internet that otherwise would be accessed via telephone or over the counter.
The transaction (whether paid or unpaid) should from the customer perspective be wholly conducted online in an end-to-end process. However, final delivery of the service might in some circumstances be offline (e.g. rego sticker sent in mail).
Typical 'Services Online' would enable customers the ability to make payments, purchases, bookings, enquiries and applications online.
The text will be a hyperlink either -
-
directly to Smart Service Queensland's transactional space; or
-
an agency page that lists all of that agency’s services, including those delivered directly by the agency or by Smart Service Queensland, and a link to Smart Service Queensland's transactional space to access all Queensland Government online services.
'Services Online' must be of consistent font, colour and appearance as specified in the style sheet supplied with the CUE template with the exception of the font size. See the implementation advice for guidelines on use of the 'Services Online' styles.
Agencies that do not use the CUE template due to technical limitations should implement the 'Services Online' design following their current development techniques.
