URL Persistence

The following guidelines were prepared by the CUE URL Persistence Working Group and were endorsed by the Online Advisory Group in July 2008, and by the Online Sub-Committee of the SI & ICT Council in October 2008.

CUE URL design guidelines

The purpose of these guidelines is to ensure that agencies across the Queensland Government employ a consistent approach to URL design conventions. It provides a set of best practice guidelines designed to improve the persistence and readability of Queensland Government website URLs.

CUE HTTP status message guidelines

The purpose of this document is to provide templates and advice to guide best-practice implementation of common resource management scenarios for Queensland Government websites and web applications.
