Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day is a chance for grandchildren, children and the community to thank grandparents for their love and support.

Grandparents Day will be celebrated annually in Queensland on the last Sunday in October. In 2013, Grandparents Day will take place on Sunday 27 October.

You can get involved in Grandparents Day by doing something special with your grandparents, or organising an event with your school or community group.

The Grand Matters newsletter provides information on community services and events related to grandparents and their families.

Raising grandchildren

If you’re raising your grandchildren, there are groups, programs and concessions that can make it easier. Find out what support is available.
