Register your business
There are many benefits for registering with the Seniors Business Discount Card and Carer Business Discount Card schemes.
Eligibility
Businesses wanting to attract the seniors or carers market are encouraged to apply.
Participating businesses can be:
- located anywhere in Queensland
- national businesses with Queensland outlets*
- online or mail order businesses offering discounts to Queensland residents
*Franchise outlets can register individually, however we advise you to check with your head office before joining.
Participating businesses must:
- offer a discount, or 'value added' service or product for free, to all cardholders*
- display point of sale Seniors Card/Seniors Business Discount Card or Carer Business Discount Card signs and stickers (provided free with registration)
*The discount or offer must be genuine and is subject to the Fair Trading Act, which states that false or misleading advertising may lead to prosecution.
