Concessions for seniors

Seniors and pensioner card holders may be eligible for a concession at Queensland’s sports centres. Contact the sporting centre to find out if they offer concession rates for seniors.

Stadiums Queensland manage the major sporting venues in the state. Seniors may be eligible for tennis court hire concessions and other discounts.

For most concessions, you will need a Seniors Card. Find out how to apply and where you can use your card.

Balancing work, family and club commitments

Child-minding services

  • Check with your sport or recreation centre if they have child-minding services at the venue or close by.
  • Find a child care centre in your area in the Yellow Pages.
  • Ask the Brisbane YMCA about child care services.
