Finished Year 12 but doors aren’t opening? Link and Launch can help.

Some students finish Year 12 and just seem to know what’s next. They’re getting a job or apprenticeship, going to TAFE, or heading straight into uni. But after 13 years of making your way through school, sometimes it’s hard to make the next step.

Introducing Link and Launch

Link and Launch is a free service designed to help you identify the options that can work for you after school. You’ll be guided through a range of post-school study, training and work options – and if you don’t have any idea what you want to do next, the program can help you with that too.

Here are just some of the options you might explore:

  • fee free TAFE
  • Skilling Queenslanders for Work programs
  • alternative entry to university
  • free apprenticeships and traineeships for under 25s
  • employment
  • federal incentives and participation programs such as JobTrainer and Transition to Work.

And there’s no right or wrong pathway – just options and opportunities!

Where can I access Link and Launch?

The Link and Launch program is offered via selected Queensland high schools – so yes, you have to go back to school but it won’t be like when you were at school! The program is run on school sites but is separate from the rest of the school.

Check out the locations where you can join the Link and Launch program right now.

Did you know…..

You don’t need to be a former student of these high schools to be eligible. You just need to have finished Year 12 in the last 2 years to get involved – and if it’s been longer than 2 years, the program may be of benefit to you too.

What have you got to lose?

Link and Launch is all about helping young people take the next step. To find out more or to join the program, contact your closest Link and Launch from the schools listed.
