Replace your security licence
If your security licence is lost, stolen or destroyed, you may apply for a replacement.
You can either apply online or contact us in writing as soon as possible.
You will need to tell us your:
- name
- address
- type of licence
- licence number (if you know it)
- reason for a replacement.
You will need to pay a fee for your replacement licence which varies depending on what kind of licence you hold.
It will take around 2 weeks to send you a replacement licence. Keep a copy of your request letter and receipt for payment for future reference.
Please note: security officer is one class of licence (e.g. if you hold an unarmed security officer licence and monitoring security officer licence, this is only one class of licence).
