Waiting lists and hospital performance

The Department of Health is committed to openly reporting on the performance of Hospital and Health Services, publishing quarterly results in local newspapers.

The hospital performance website has up-to-date information on waiting times for:

  • emergency department
  • elective surgery
  • outpatients
  • oral health.

It also contains hospital performance information on:

  • emergency department performance indicators
  • elective surgery performance indicators
  • historical emergency department and elective surgery charts
  • staffing levels and infrastructure projects planned
  • number of beds in operation
  • health care infections
  • hospital activity.
