Objective: To enable non-government organisations to deliver two therapeutic residential services, one located north of Brisbane and one located west of Brisbane, each providing six places within a residential setting for young people referred by the Department of Child Safety.

Transitional recovery program 2007-08

Provider: Disability Services Queensland
Amount: In 2007-08 up to $900,000 of block targeted recurrent funding is available to establish a Transitional Recovery Program to provide accommodation and support for eight places at the Gold Coast. In addition Disability Services Queensland has made a commitment to fund the purchase of appropriate accommodation for the delivery of the Transitional Recovery Program. The configuration of the accommodation is open to negotiation and may comprise of individual units or group home or a combination of both.
