13 June 2013: One of the state’s most unique festivals will bring together 36 communities making music of every kind.

This year’s Queensland Music Festival, from 12 to 28 July, includes events with large-scale community participation such as:
- the Boomtown project in Gladstone
- Heart of an Open Country in Tambo, as part of their 150th birthday celebrations
- Swingin’ Utes in Mount Isa, as a highlight of their 90th birthday festivities.
Tina Arena
Tina Arena is performing 2 free community concerts in Moranbah and Emerald, with the Queensland Youth Orchestra and local artists.
Bee Gees
Brisbane will host How Deep is Your Love, a home-town tribute to the Bee Gees at Brisbane Riverstage.
World’s biggest orchestra
In a record-breaking attempt to make musical history, we’re also hoping to gather thousands of people for the world’s biggest orchestra.

The Queensland Music Festival is a central element of the Arts for all Queenslanders commitment to deliver more great arts and culture for more Queenslanders, and has received $3.2 million in funding from the Queensland Government.
