Ceud Mile Failte!

22 March 2013: To celebrate Harmony Day on 21 March, Queensland State Archives held a seminar entitled Céud Míle Fáilte (a hundred thousand welcomes), which looked at the records held in the collection relating to Scots in Queensland.

The Scots that came to the new colony left their mark in the new state's architecture, education, law, politics, agriculture, public service and the arts.

Queensland State Archives has produced a Scots in Queensland online video celebrating this colourful contribution.
