Celebrate the last week of summer with sun, surf and art on the Gold Coast
22 January 2013: The last week of summer will see the Gold Coast come alive when it celebrates its surfing culture with the return of the Bleach* Festival, 22 February – 3 March 2013.

Pop-up shipping container art galleries will feature at the Gold Coast Bulletin Bleach* Hub.
Bleach* is an annual festival held on the Gold Coast that brings together the city’s iconic surfing culture with its booming contemporary art scene featuring music, photography, arts, theatre, film, ideas and lifestyle events.
What and where?
Bleach* will showcase works from more than 168 visual and performing artists and feature an array of free art events and pop up music venues across Currumbin, Tugun, Kirra and Coolangatta. The Bleach* ‘hub’ will stay in Coolangatta’s beachfront Queen Elizabeth Park for the duration of the festival.
Pre bleach
You can get a sneak peak of what to expect at Pre Bleach Weekend festivities in Paradise Point, Burleigh and Palm Beach from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 February.
