Collaborative workspaces

Our collaborative workspaces allow information sharing among members of various groups.

Each collaborative workspace features its own forum, events calendar, news highlights and document management facility.

How to access

To request access to a collaborative workspace, email ICT Communications with:

  • the name of the workspace
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • your agency/company.

Workspaces

  • Windows 7
    This site is a repository of information about Windows 7 within the Queensland Government community, to be used for the upcoming migration to this operating system, as well as ongoing capability development.
  • Software asset management contacts
    This site provides access to the latest information about software asset management and a space for discussion. It also hosts shared intellectual property developed on behalf of the Queensland Government.
  • ICT Industry Workgroup
    This group represents the majority of Queensland’s ICT industry associations and their members. It helps improve governance and procurement practices within government to deliver better outcomes for the industry and Queensland’s economy. 
    Please note: Access to this collaborative workspace is restricted to members of the ICT Industry Workgroup only.

Information about these collaborative workspaces

Any accounts that are inactive for more than 30 days may automatically become locked and alerts will be disabled (under our security policy). Therefore users will no longer receive updates on new content, discussions or posts during that time.

Email ICT Communications to ask for your account to be unlocked.

Privacy notice

We are collecting your personal information to allow you access to a collaborative workspace. The collaborative workspace facility allows groups to share documents, participate in forums and access group information.

As a member of a collaborative workspace, your name and email address will be disclosed to other members of the collaborative workspace in a membership list and displayed with any content that you upload within that workspace, for the purpose of collaboration.

Your personal information will be stored in a secure standard query language database and used only for the stated purpose. This information may be disclosed, without your consent, if authorised or required by law.
