For CAEATI prescribers and vendors

The Community Aids, Equipment and Assistive Technologies Scheme (CAEATI) is an initiative that helps people with a disability participate in their communities by providing subsidy funding for a range of aids, equipment and assistive technologies.

CAEATI prescribers

Prescribers play an important role in the CAEATI scheme, by conducting specialist assessments to determine the aids and equipment needs of clients.

Become a CAEATI prescriber

Eligibility

To be eligible to register as a CAEATI prescriber, you must hold a current qualification in 1 or more of the following:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Speech therapy

You also need to be registered with your relevant professional body.

Clinical support for CAEATI prescribers

Prescribers can access clinical support if required by emailing LifeTec at CAEATS@lifetec.org.au (email service only).
