Did you know…
If you use a motorised wheelchair in Queensland, you are required to register it with the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
There are no fees for registering, and free compulsory third party insurance is available after you register.
Motorised wheelchairs can be registered to individuals and organisations such as nursing homes, shopping centres and hire companies.
They can also be registered to schools and other education facilities.
