Building supportive community grants

For nearly 10 years, the Queensland Government has helped communities fund local initiatives that include and welcome people with disability.

Some have been party-like celebrations. Others have made it easier for people with disability to take part in sporting or artistic activities. Still others have focused on changing attitudes and developing community awareness.

All have brought community together.

Applications are now open for 2012 Building Supportive Communities grants of between $500 and $5,000.

Applications close 16 March 2012.
