Aquatic Fun Days

Swimming Queensland hosts free Aquatic Participation Fun Days for children and adults with disability, as well as teachers and others working with swimmers with disability.

The activities focus on safety, skills development and fun, and are designed to help people with disability become confident in the water and able to enjoy the benefits of swimming.

Activities include:

  • water safety – on land activities
  • water safety – activities in the water
  • buoyancy, submersion and mobility training
  • game skills
  • fun races.
