Circus and occupational therapy research
Researchers at the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre, based at the Royal Children's Hospital, have been involved in studies—including the INCITE study, and the Circus Motivate study—comparing circus therapy and traditional therapy as rehabilitation approaches for children with cerebral palsy.
Research is underway with COMBiT circus camps for children aged 5 to 16 years with hemiplegia. If you are interested in participating, you can contact Laura Miller on 07 3636 5542 or Roslyn Boyd on 07 3365 5315; email Laura or Roslyn; or visit the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre website.
