Accessing specialist disability services

  • Requesting specialist support

How to make contact with Disability Services and request support or referral to another service.

  • Specialist support eligibility

Learn about the eligibility criteria that apply when requesting specialist support from Disability Services.

  • Assessing your support needs

If you have requested specialist disability support, you may also have an assessment so that Disability Services can learn about your needs and goals and check your eligibility.

  • Priority level and linking to support

Requests for support are given different priority because demand for specialist services outweighs supply. People who contact disability services are linked to available services wherever possible.

  • Reviewing your support plan

When you are receiving specialist support from Disability Services, your support plan is reviewed in order to ensure the services you use are still meeting your needs.
