Carers Week

Carers Week encourages people to get to know more about Australia’s 2.6 million unpaid family carers, including who they are, what they do and how we can support them.

In 2013, Carers Week will be celebrated from 13–19 October with the theme ’Be Care Aware’.

Carer-Friendly Business Awards

The Carer-Friendly Business Awards are held during Carers Week, and provide an opportunity for unpaid family carers to thank businesses (or employees) who show their understanding of the needs of carers through their service, support or willingness to go the extra mile.

Nominate a business or individual for the 2013 awards (nominations close 20 August 2013).
