Local government areas activated

Western Downs Regional Council area, including Dalby and surrounds, for March 2013.

Financial assistance

Immediate financial assistance is available for people in the disaster-declared area who are:

  • experiencing hardship as a result of the disaster, and
  • unable to meet their immediate needs for accommodation, food, essential clothing or medication.

Subject to eligibility, applicants may receive the Emergent Assistance Grant of between $180 and $900.

To apply, phone the Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349.
