The fees are current as at 1 July 2011.

Local (Queensland) adoption

Assessment fee: $554.85

There are no fees associated with making an expression of interest or attending information and education sessions.

Intercountry adoption

Assessment fee*: $3,985.30
Supervision fee (post-placement): $1,708

* The Intercountry Assessment fee is paid in 2 instalments as a couple's assessment progresses. There are no fees associated with making an expression of interest or attending information or education sessions.

Step-parent adoption

Application fee: $68.30
Assessment fee: $512.40
