Residential aged care centres are places where seniors can live if they need nursing care or help with daily living, including showering, dressing, laundry, cleaning and managing their health.

BlueCare

BlueCare provides residential aged care that is respectful of the cultural and spiritual needs of Indigenous people.

Jimbelunga Nursing Centre

Eagleby’s Jimbelunga Nursing Centre provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with aged care support, including respite accommodation, meals, laundry and medical help.

Kalwun Home and Community Care

Kalwun Home and Community Care is located at Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast. They provide aged care services to help Indigenous people maintain their independence.

Indigenous hostels

Ny-Ku Byun

Ny-Ku Byun is an aged care hostel located in Cherbourg. It provides safe care for the elderly, including Indigenous and disabled people who need help with their daily lives.

Pastor Bill and Ruth Hollingsworth Aged and Disabled Hostel

The Pastor Bill and Ruth Hollingsworth Aged and Disabled Hostel (formerly known as Dija Meta) provides services to cater for the aged care and disability needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Cape York region and surrounding communities.

Aboriginal hostels in Queensland

Aboriginal Hostels Limited offer temporary, culturally appropriate accommodation across Queensland for Indigenous Australians.

Georgina Hostel

The Georgina Hostel offers aged care for Indigenous people.
