Remote Indigenous Driver Licensing Program
The Indigenous Driver Licensing Unit is a mobile team that visits remote Indigenous communities in far north Queensland, including the Cape York and Torres Strait areas, to help you:
- do learner driver licence testing
- do practical driver testing for cars and trucks
- renew your driver licence
- get adult proof of age cards.
You need to provide the same original forms of identification that are needed in a regular customer service centre.
