Indigenous role models

Deadly Vibe is a national Indigenous music, art and sport magazine. It is produced monthly and promotes positive Indigenous role models such as Indigenous celebrities and community achievers.

Desert Pea Media run art and media mentoring programs in remote communities throughout Australia and the world. They have worked with a range of talented Indigenous artist including the Colli Crew, The Gowrie Boys and The Big M Crew.

Show me the way connects young Indigenous people with Indigenous adult learning partners; similar to mentoring the initiative aims to help young people make big decision about school and career direction.

The NRL Indigenous All Stars run the Indigenous All Stars Youth Summit each year for students from Queensland and New South Wales. The summit aims to inspire students to embrace the opportunity to learn and earn while still staying connected to their Indigenous identity.

Tennis Australia runs a national program for Indigenous youth inspired by Aboriginal role model, and past number 1 tennis player in the world, Evonne Goolagong Cawley, MBE, AO.
