Community and Personal Histories was established to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with finding Queensland state government records about themselves and their families.

Community and Personal Histories research staff may be able to help you with establishing evidence of your Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent or heritage. However, Community and Personal Histories cannot provide you with a 'proof of Aboriginality' or 'proof of Torres Strait Islander heritage'.
