Disaster Relief Appeal 2010–11

Collections for the appeal have now closed. Thank you for your support.

The St Vincent de Paul Society (St Vinnie’s) will help distribute remaining funds, providing payments to people in need on a case-by-case basis.

About the appeal

The Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal has helped over 40,000 people affected by flooding and Tropical Cyclone Yasi in late 2010 and early 2011, with more than $281.6 million in payments.

Support for charities or not-for-profits

Special disaster assistance grant

This grant provides up to $25,000 to help with flood and cyclone damage costs.
Applications must be received by 30 June 2012.

Natural disaster assistance loan and grant

This loan and grant package provides up to $105,000 to help re-establish your organisation (including equipment, premises and grounds, and replacing lost stock).
