Multi-Faith Ceremony

The 2011 Multi-Faith Ceremony was held as part of Queensland Week celebrations on Wednesday 8 June. The ceremony brought communities together to experience the diverse and vibrant gathering of religious faiths from across Brisbane.

The theme for the 2011 ceremony was ‘community’ and reflected on the spirit of giving and sharing that united Queenslanders following the flood and cyclone disasters of 2010–2011. Faith representatives from the Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Taoist, Islamic, Sikh and Baha'i religions delivered prayers or messages based on this theme.
