The Great Queensland Week Adventure Trail

The Great Queensland Week Adventure Trail took over the Brisbane CBD on Sunday 9 June 2013. The event challenged teams to solve clues, complete logic puzzles and find checkpoints scattered around the inner city of Brisbane.

Prizes were awarded for best name, best costumes and most enthusiastic cheer as well as a grand prize draw including a $1000 Qantas travel voucher, one year Qantas Club membership, Apple iPad minis, Darrell Lea hamper and vouchers for Brisbane attractions.

A free program of live entertainment and activities took place at The Courier-Mail Piazza, the Parklands, South Bank as Adventure Trail participants made their way back to the finish line. Queensland artists the Phoncurves, Brother Fox and Texas Tea entertained crowds along with Zumba demonstrations, face painting, a chalk artist, sports activities and giant games.

In 2013, The Great Queensland Week Adventure Trail was presented by the Queensland Government and supported by Network Ten, The Courier-Mail, Triple M, B105, 612 ABC Brisbane, Avant Card, Qantas and Darrell Lea.
