Premier's Sustainability Awards 2013

Nominations for the 2013 awards have now closed, with winners announced at an awards presentation dinner on Friday 14 June 2013.

Over 145 nominations were received, which is a strong sign that Queenslanders are embracing environmental sustainability.

These prestigious awards are the Queensland Government’s highest recognition for the achievements of businesses, communities and schools in the areas of sustainability, innovation and eco-efficiency.

There are eight award categories, with the pinnacle award – the Premier's Award – presented to an individual or group of individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to promoting and advancing sustainability in Queensland. The winner of this award is recognised for their vision, innovative thinking and ability to bring about behavioural change.

This event includes a three-course dinner, beverages, pre- and post- awards entertainment.
